New Policies & Price Changes As of April 1, 2011, all cat prices will increase. A bath and brush for a cat in good condition will increase to $45.00. A full groom will increase to $65.00. Any mild dematting fees and sales tax are extra. As of May 1, 2011 the pricing for pick up and delivery will increase. See store for details. November 1, 2011 all bath & brush and full groom prices will increase $2.00. Also, as of May 1, 2011 we will no longer accept pets with behavior issues, extreme health issues or pets requring strip-off/shave-downs. Behavior pets are any pets exhibiting biting, nipping, scratching, clawing, hyperactivity or incontinence behaviors. Extreme health issue pets are pets having diagnosed health issues or extreme old age that require special handling in order to work them through the grooming process. Strip-off pets are pets that require shaving in order to properly remove matting. Shave-down pets are pets that are either dual-coated or slick-coated pets (ie. labs, heelers, goldens, border collies, shelties, corgies, etc.) that are requested by the owner shaved short because it is "too hot" or to stop shedding. As these type of pets do not normally receive a trim, their coat types and skin do not benefit from shaving their coats. Concerning poor condtion pets, the rule of thumb is that no pet should go more than 6 weeks between grooms, but we will accept pets up to 6 months out from a groom if proper home maintenance is done on the coat and skin. Acceptance of the pet is contingent upon our inspection of the pet upon drop off. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet due to health, age, behavior, coat condition or breed. Prices and policies are subject to change without notice. |
